Situated in the vibrant Büyükçekmece district of Istanbul, Barka Shipyard, a part of the Begüm Yachting group, was established in 2005 in response to the demand for high-quality shipyards in the region. The shipyard features modern facilities and a team of highly skilled professionals dedicated to bringing clients' visions with precision and innovation. As a result, Barka Shipyard is recognised as one of Istanbul's leading refit centres.
Barka Shipyard's facilities include a 720-tonne Cimolai lift, a 42,000 square-metre dry docking open area, a 1,000 square-metre painting shed, and a 400-tonne Cimolai boat mover. These capabilities allow the shipyard to efficiently and precisely manage a diverse range of projects.

The 45.2-metre Orkun Yachting superyacht Deep Story received extensive updates, including mechanical and aesthetic improvements. The 95.92-metre Lürssen sailing superyacht EOS underwent a comprehensive refurbishment to enhance its performance and comfort. Maintenance on the 69.65-metre Scheepswerf A. Vuyk & Zonen superyacht Sherakhan ensured its optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, the 74-metre Amels superyacht Universe saw significant enhancements in its mechanical systems and luxury features.
